President
As President of Anchor Point, Mr. Campbell leads Anchor Point's strategy and growth, including capital deployment, regulatory strategy, strategic utility partnerships, team building, and execution. He brings nearly two decades of experience building and leading transmission businesses across CAISO, MISO, SPP, and other regions. Before forming Anchor Point, he served as Chief Development Officer of GridLiance and President of GridLiance West, built the power business at Tallgrass Energy, and held leadership roles at Edison Transmission. During his career, he has originated and executed more than $1 billion in regulated transmission investments.
Executive Chair
Mr. Deggendorf advises Anchor Point's leadership and Board on strategy, governance, utility partnerships, and execution. He brings more than 30 years of utility-industry experience, including executive leadership roles at AEP and Great Plains Energy. He helped establish Transource Energy, the transmission development company formed by AEP and Great Plains Energy, and served as Chief Executive Officer of Grid Assurance, a utility-owned company focused on grid resilience. He also led Electric Transmission Texas, a transmission-focused joint venture between AEP and Berkshire Hathaway Energy. His experience spans transmission, distribution, generation, major capital projects, and the infrastructure required to serve growing AI and data center demand.
Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Hooton leads Anchor Point's origination and growth activities, including utility partnerships, commercial structuring, and the development of new investment opportunities. He brings extensive experience in transmission commercial strategy, regional planning, and RTO coordination. Before joining Anchor Point, he served as Vice President, Power and Transmission, at Tallgrass Energy and as President of GridLiance High Plains, where he led the company's SPP business and partnerships with municipal utilities and electric cooperatives. Earlier, he spent nearly eight years at SPP in planning and interregional coordination roles.
General Counsel
Mr. Degeyter serves as Anchor Point's General Counsel, with primary responsibility for the company's legal and regulatory affairs. He brings more than 24 years of experience as a trusted legal adviser in the energy sector. Before joining Anchor Point, he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Medallion Midstream, and previously held the same roles at Summit Midstream. Earlier, he worked in the corporate legal department of Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU Corp.), where he served as Director of Corporate Governance and Senior Counsel, and before that was engaged in private practice with Correro Fishman Haygood Phelps Walmsley & Casteix LLP.
Chief Development Officer
Dr. Galli leads the development of Anchor Point's transmission projects and upgrades, from opportunity identification through RTO approval and execution. Before joining Anchor Point, he served as Senior Vice President, Transmission Development at energyRe and Executive Director, Transmission Development at NextEra Energy Transmission. At NextEra, he led competitive transmission origination, securing project awards through RTO solicitations under FERC Order No. 1000, and was instrumental in winning the company's first regulated transmission project outside Florida through Texas's CREZ program. He was also a founding team member at Clean Line Energy Partners, where he directed the technical work supporting regulatory approvals across six jurisdictions.
Head of Transmission Planning
Mr. Holland leads Anchor Point's transmission planning activities, including system analysis, project identification, RTO engagement, and advancement through regional planning processes. He brings deep experience across SPP, CAISO, and other markets. Before joining Anchor Point, he served as Executive Director of Transmission Planning at GridLiance, where he led planning for reliability, economic, and generation-integration needs across multiple transmission systems. He previously held senior planning roles at GridLiance West and worked in transmission planning at SPP, giving him both utility and RTO perspectives.
VP, Finance
Mr. Verola leads Anchor Point's finance function, including financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, reporting, internal controls, and decision support for investments and utility partnerships. He brings experience in power, utilities, and renewables investment banking, transaction analysis, and corporate valuation. Before joining Anchor Point, he was a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey's Power, Utilities, and Renewables Group and previously worked in valuation at KPMG. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a B.S. in Finance and Management and an M.S. in Finance from Florida State University.
